Client Appreciation Events

Real estate client appreciation events to boost marketingYou are building more than a business in real estate — you are selecting a path in life. Your clients are an essential part of your future success. The relationships that you build with your clients and members of the community will be the lifeblood of your business and your future success.

Client appreciation events will expand and solidify those relationships. Well planned annual, semi-annual or quarterly events will make you and your services memorable.

Who Is Invited?

The people you want to honor and thank will dictate the potential types of events. You should look at your list and weigh the interests of the individuals you would like to include against the events you can organize.

Appreciation events should be adults only. You can do family events for networking and community awareness building, but the appreciation events should be a bit more “high brow” than young children will permit. Think “parents’ night out.”

Play The “Exclusive” Card

As you come up with creative ways to say thank you, the word-of-mouth promotion you enjoy will boost the demand for inclusion. If the only way to attend is to recommend your services, you win!

You should also play up the “exclusive” nature of these events by requiring an RSVP in advance. Consider language that states that, regrettably — due to the intimate nature of the event — only the first 20 people to RSVP will be accepted.

Keeping the size down will help you control costs and will stimulate demand for your particular brand of appreciation events.

Take Photos

It would be best if someone else took the photos for you (so you will be in a few of them), but even if you have to take them yourself — GET THEM! You will use these photos to catalog on your website, in your newsletter and in other printed marketing materials to record the events you create and the people who enjoy them.

You may even be able to get a little interest from the local media by sending in a good photo and cutline with a short press release on the event after it happens. It would be great addition to the business or community page! Be sure to ask your broker to include one in their local, regional or corporate newsletter and on their company website. Incoming links are good!
